CLASS B
from 17 years with accompanied driving

No time limit on ownership
Motor vehicles - with the exception of motorcycles of classes AM, A, A1 and A2 - with a permissible total weight of up to max. 3,500 kg and for transport with no more than eight seats, except for the driver's seat (also with a trailer with a permissible total weight of up to max. 750 kg or with a permissible total weight of more than 750 kg, provided that the permissible total weight of the combination does not exceed 3,500 kg).
INFORMATION ON ACCOMPANYING DRIVING (BF17)
You can start with 16 1/2 years
The training does not differ from that of the 18 year olds
The only difference comes from the authority:
To apply for a driving license, we need an extra form on which the legal guardians declare their consent and on which all companions must be named. The number of companions is not limited, you only need copies of ID and driver's license (front and back)!
Additional costs for the additional application are around € 8.70 and € 11 for each number of companions
Who can accompany?
Father, mother, grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt, sister, brother or someone who does not come from the family ???
YES for example: employer
The companion only has to meet the following requirements:
Minimum age: 30 years
Driver's license: Class B for 5 years
Points in Flensburg: max. 3

No time limit on ownership
Combinations consisting of a class B towing vehicle and a trailer or semi-trailer. The permissible total weight of the trailer may be more than 750 kg, but a maximum of 3,500 kg. The vehicle combination may not exceed 7,000 kg.

Neue Automatikregelung B197
Nun ist es amtlich. Ab 01.04.2021 gibt es die Schlüsselzahl 197.
Was bedeutet das für Dich?
Bisher war es so wenn Du die praktische Prüfung auf einem Fahrzeug mit Automatikgetriebe abgelegt hast, dann durftest Du anschließend auch nur Automatikfahrzeuge fahren.
Mit der neuen Regelung und einer Durchführung der praktischen Prüfung auf Automatik ab dem 01.04.2021 entfällt diese Beschränkung, wenn während der Ausbildung mindestens 10 Stunden auf einem Schaltwagen mit einem anschließenden 15 minütigen Test durch den Fahrlehrer absolviert worden sind.
In Deinen Führerschein wird anschließend die Schlüsselzahl 197 eingetragen. Sie dient lediglich der Kenntlichmachung und Auswertung und Du kannst auch im Ausland Kfz mit Schaltgetriebe fahren.
Was heißt das für Dich!
Du legst bei diesem Modell also die ersten Fahrstunden auf einem Fahrzeug mit Automatikgetriebe ab, ehe Du dann für mind. 10 Fahrstunden auf den Schaltwagen wechselst mit 15 minütigen Test, um im Anschluss wieder die Prüfungsvorbereitung und die praktische Prüfung auf dem Automatikfahrzeug abzulegen.

CLASS B WITH KEY NUMBER 96
no own driving license class

from 18 years
Combination of class B motor vehicle with trailer (gross vehicle weight of the trailer more than 750 kg) with a gross vehicle weight between 3,500 kg and 4,250 kg.
With the "old" driving license class 3
You may drive trains with a maximum of 3 axles (towing vehicle max. 7.5 t gross vehicle weight).
When you exchange your driver's license, you will receive classes B, BE, C1, C1E, AM and L.
Class T is only allocated on application and is only possible for people who work in agriculture or forestry.
